Construction is what I know... since high school my career has taken me on a journey working up the ladder from an electrical apprentice, to a journeyman, foreman, project manager, and finally an electrical inspector. In all those years (almost 20 years), on of the biggest lessons was that skills are transferable. What did i do in the past?.... i analyzed drawings, organized projects, coordinated co-workers and sub-contractors, and ultimately built cool things.

Now, I build software.

Oh and the tools look a bit different though... now I work with API's, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, LLM's, and voice AI agents.

I've always had a way of finding the most productive tool to get the job done quicker whether is was a new  band saw, electric cable cutters, or implementing a knowledge base before it was even a buzz word. Whatever the tool, what matters was that it was the right one that worked for us, not one that our buddy was using.
